This Refund Policy applies to eligible payments made to Ridgital LLC (“Ridgital”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for our websites, software, SaaS products, hosted tools, APIs, infrastructure software, professional services, and other digital products or services (collectively, the “Services”). It explains how cancellations, credits, and refund requests are handled and should be read together with the Terms & Conditions, applicable Service Schedule, package, checkout information, order, statement of work, and invoice.
1. Scope and applicable terms
This Policy applies to subscriptions, renewals, packages, prepaid credits, usage-based charges, one-time purchases, professional services, and other fees paid through the Ridgital website, an invoice, a VPOS gateway, or another authorized payment method.
A Service Schedule, order, statement of work, promotion, or separate written agreement may contain different cancellation or refund terms for a particular Service or Customer. Those specific terms control for their subject matter. Mandatory applicable law prevails over this Policy.
The Services are generally offered for business, commercial, trade, craft, entrepreneurial, or professional use. If mandatory consumer law applies to a particular purchase, nothing in this Policy limits a cancellation, withdrawal, refund, repair, replacement, price-reduction, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Different Service and billing models
Ridgital Services may be provided as:
- automatically renewing or fixed-term subscriptions;
- prepaid packages, quotas, capacity, or credits;
- metered or usage-based storage, data transfer, requests, messages, processing, or other disclosed units;
- one-time digital products or implementation fees;
- professional, consulting, development, support, or custom services; or
- a combination of these models.
The Service page, checkout, order, invoice, or written agreement identifies the applicable model, service period, units, and price.
3. Activation and commencement
A digital Service may be considered started when access, credentials, a workspace, software, package features, credits, storage, integrations, downloads, or other purchased capabilities are made available. A professional Service may be considered started when planning, resource reservation, analysis, implementation, development, support, or other agreed work begins.
Because digital access, resources, and professional capacity may be provided or consumed immediately, fees are generally non-refundable after the relevant Service has started, except as stated below, expressly agreed in writing, or required by law.
4. Cancelling automatic renewal
If a Service is identified as automatically renewing, Customer may cancel future renewal through available account controls or by contacting Ridgital before the next renewal is processed. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and access may continue until then subject to the Terms & Conditions.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not, by itself, create a right to a full or prorated refund for the current period. If automatic renewal was not expressly disclosed before purchase, no recurring charge is authorized.
5. When a refund may be approved
Subject to verification, Ridgital may approve a full or partial refund when:
- a duplicate payment was made for the same invoice, order, or service period;
- an incorrect amount was charged because of a confirmed Ridgital pricing, invoicing, metering, or payment-processing error;
- a renewal was charged after a valid, timely cancellation because of a confirmed Ridgital error;
- payment was completed, but Ridgital could not activate or begin the purchased Service because of a confirmed internal issue;
- Ridgital permanently discontinues the paid Service during the active period without a reasonable replacement, transition, or completion arrangement;
- a material portion of the paid Service was not provided because of a confirmed issue within Ridgital’s control, the affected portion can be reasonably identified, and no reasonable remedy was provided; or
- a refund is required by mandatory applicable law.
Where appropriate, Ridgital may offer a correction, re-performance, replacement, service extension, account credit, package adjustment, or other reasonable remedy. Customer may accept or decline an alternative where a cash refund is legally required.
6. Generally non-refundable amounts
Unless mandatory law or specific written terms require otherwise, refunds are generally not provided for:
- change of mind, failure to use a Service, or cancellation after the paid period or work has started;
- unused subscription time, quota, included capacity, credits, storage, support, requests, messages, or other package entitlement;
- usage already consumed, work already performed, deliverables already provided, or a completed service period;
- resources, personnel, infrastructure, or capacity already reserved or allocated for Customer;
- third-party hosting, infrastructure, storage, bandwidth, licence, email, payment, or provider costs already incurred for Customer;
- results affected by Customer data, content, configuration, instructions, credentials, systems, integrations, dependencies, approvals, delays, or failure to follow documentation;
- rate limiting, quota enforcement, feature gating, resource exhaustion, queuing, or rejection consistent with the purchased Service;
- third-party downtime, policy decisions, account restrictions, compatibility issues, network conditions, provider changes, or other circumstances outside Ridgital’s reasonable control;
- suspension or termination resulting from non-payment, prohibited use, abuse, security risk caused by Customer, or breach of the Terms & Conditions;
- bank fees, card fees, taxes, currency-conversion differences, exchange-rate changes, or payment-provider delays not caused by Ridgital; or
- a free trial, promotional credit, discretionary credit, or other amount Customer did not pay.
7. Metered usage and prepaid credits
Metered charges for storage, data transfer, API or SMTP requests, messages, processing, or other measured units are generally non-refundable once the usage has occurred or a third-party charge has been incurred. Usage records maintained by the Service are the basis for billing, subject to correction of verified measurement errors.
Prepaid credits, balances, or capacity are not redeemable for cash. Their expiration, carryover, and transfer are governed by the applicable Service terms. Expiration or forfeiture rules disclosed before purchase apply, subject to mandatory law.
8. Professional and custom services
Deposits, retainers, setup fees, reserved capacity, and fees for professional or custom services are refundable only to the extent stated in the applicable order, proposal, package, or statement of work. If work is cancelled, Customer remains responsible for work performed, committed resources, approved expenses, non-cancellable third-party costs, and other amounts earned or incurred before cancellation.
If a deliverable materially fails to meet express written acceptance criteria, Customer must notify Ridgital promptly and allow a reasonable opportunity to correct or re-perform the affected work before requesting a refund, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
9. Partial refunds, credits, and service extensions
If only part of a payment or service period is affected by a verified Ridgital issue, any refund or credit may be limited to the reasonably affected portion. We may consider the duration and materiality of the issue, Service price, actual access and usage, completed work, allocated resources, third-party charges, available workaround, and any correction, extension, or credit already provided.
Promotional or discretionary credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
10. Upgrades, downgrades, and order changes
Charges and effective dates for upgrades, downgrades, added resources, removed resources, or scope changes are shown in the account, checkout, change order, invoice, or written confirmation. An upgrade or added-resource charge is generally non-refundable once the additional capability or resource becomes available or is reserved.
A downgrade normally applies from the stated future period and does not create a refund for the current package. It may require Customer action where existing data, users, integrations, or resources exceed lower limits.
11. How to request a refund
Send the request promptly to info@ridgital.com and include:
- Customer or organization name;
- account email address and organization, tenant, workspace, project, or account identifier where available;
- Service name, package, order, invoice, and transaction reference;
- payment date, amount, and currency;
- the reason for the request and the affected period, usage, resource, or deliverable; and
- supporting information reasonably needed to verify the issue.
Do not send full card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, PINs, passwords, API keys, access tokens, certificates, private keys, or other secrets.
12. Review and decision
Ridgital will review relevant account, payment, activation, metering, usage, support, delivery, and contractual records. We may request identity, authority, transaction, configuration, or technical verification. Approval is not automatic and depends on this Policy, the applicable Service terms, the facts, and mandatory law.
We will communicate the decision within a reasonable time. Complex provider, fraud, security, usage, technical, or professional-service investigations may require additional time.
13. Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method and currency where supported. If that is not possible, Ridgital may use another lawful and mutually agreed method after appropriate verification.
After Ridgital issues a refund, the time for funds to appear depends on the bank, card network, payment provider, currency, and jurisdiction. Ridgital does not control external processing times or exchange-rate differences.
14. Chargebacks and suspected fraud
Please contact Ridgital before initiating a chargeback so that we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue. We may dispute unsupported chargebacks and provide the payment provider with relevant account, transaction, acceptance, usage, delivery, and communication records. We may suspend an account while investigating suspected fraud, unauthorized use, or abusive chargeback activity.
15. Mandatory rights and Policy changes
Nothing in this Policy limits a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, repair, replacement, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. We may update this Policy for future purchases and renewals by publishing a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date. The version applicable when the relevant payment was made will normally govern that payment, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
