This Cookie Policy explains how Ridgital LLC (“Ridgital”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, customer portals, and related web applications (collectively, the “Services”). It supplements Section 14 (Cookies and similar technologies) of our Privacy Policy and should be read together with the Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the Services to recognize your device, remember information about your visit, and support features such as staying signed in, remembering your language preference, and understanding how the Services are used.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use two categories of cookies on the Services:
- Strictly necessary cookies – required to provide and secure the Services, for example keeping you signed in or remembering your shopping cart. These do not require consent under applicable law and are not affected by the choice described in Section 5.
- Analytics cookies – used to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Services. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we request consent before using non-essential analytics technologies, and these cookies are only set after you provide that consent.
We do not use advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking cookies on the Services.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
The following strictly necessary cookies are used on the Services:
- ridgital_session – keeps you signed in to your account. Duration: 24 hours.
- ridgital_csrf – protects your account and forms from cross-site request forgery. Duration: 24 hours.
- ridgital_cart – remembers the contents of your shopping cart between visits. Duration: 30 days.
- ridgital_cookie_consent – records your cookie consent choice so we do not ask again on every visit. Duration: 365 days if you accept, 30 days if you decline.
- NEXT_LOCALE – remembers your selected language (English or Armenian). Duration: for your browser session.
4. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)
Where used, our analytics provider is Google Analytics, operated by Google LLC. Google Analytics is only loaded, and only sets cookies, after you provide consent as described in Section 5. If you decline, or take no action, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
When active, Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga, _gid, and _ga_<container-id>, used to distinguish visitors and sessions and retained according to Google’s own retention settings. Consistent with Section 10 of our Privacy Policy, information collected through Google Analytics may be processed outside Armenia, including in the United States; where applicable law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we rely on an appropriate legal mechanism, contractual protection, adequacy basis, or other permitted safeguard.
5. How Consent Works
When you first visit the Services, a cookie banner asks whether you accept or decline analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies described in Section 3 are used regardless of your choice, because they are required for the Services to operate and do not require consent.
- If you select Accept, Google Analytics is loaded and the cookies described in Section 4 are set.
- If you select Decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
Your choice is recorded in the ridgital_cookie_consent cookie described in Section 3.
6. Managing or Withdrawing Your Consent
You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by clearing the ridgital_cookie_consent cookie, or your browser’s cookies for this site, and revisiting the Services – the cookie banner will appear again so you can choose again.
Most browsers also let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings. Because strictly necessary cookies are required for the Services to function, blocking them may prevent parts of the Services from working correctly. You may separately opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or your browser’s privacy settings.
7. Third-Party Cookies
The analytics cookies described in Section 4 are set by Google, acting as a subprocessor, and not by Ridgital directly. As with other subprocessors described in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy, Ridgital does not control how a third party uses its own cookies beyond the purpose disclosed in this Policy, and we encourage you to review that third party’s own cookie and privacy information for further detail.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, the Services, or applicable law. We will publish the revised version and update the “Last updated” date. Please review this page periodically.
